Description

Day 1
  • Departure from Marrakech by 4×4 towards the High Atlas and southern Morocco via the Tichka pass.
  • You will visit the famous kasbah of Telouet, the former residence of Pacha El Glaoui and symbol of the feudal period in Morocco as well as the salt mines.
  • After lunch you will follow the Ounila valley via the old caravan route to arrive at the famous ksar (fortified village) of Aït Ben Haddou, location of several films (Gladiator, Asterix and Obelix, The Diamond of the Nile, Alexander the Great, etc.).
  • Then you will arrive in Ouarzazate via the track of the cinema studios.
  • Overnight in Ouarzazate: Dar Chamaa *** or the Little Riad
Day 2
  • After breakfast you will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt or the cinema studios in Ouarzazate.
  • Then you will go for a walk in the village and the oasis of Fint.
  • Then you will return to the starting point where you will go around the ramparts of Marrakech in 4×4.

Day 1

Day 1

Day 3
  • After sunrise and a camel trek in the desert of southern Morocco, you will depart from Merzouga by 4×4 to the town of Rissani, Alnif. This region is well known for its fossils.
  • After lunch you will follow the Draa Valley on the old caravan route with its splendid palm grove and henna fields.
  • Then you will reach Marrakech via the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass.

Day 1

  • Then you travel through the Draa Valley before arriving in Zagora and Erg Lihoudi to spend the night in a bivouac.

  • You cross Erg Lihoudi, Foum Zguid, by the track, about 160 km between sand and rock desert, passing by Erg Chegaga and Lake Iriki.
  • You picnic on the track or have lunch in Foum Zguid, then you cross the chain of the Anti-Atlas and its oases, before arriving in Ouarzazate.
  • Night in Ouarzazate: Dar Chamaa *** or the small riad.
Day 3
  • You visit the Ksar of Aït Benhaddou, then you drive 40km on a small road along the magnificent Ounila valley and its kasbahs before arriving in Telouet for lunch.
  • Visit of the kasbah and return to Marrakech, via the Tizi n’Tichka pass.

Day 1
  • Departure for Casablanca.
    Panoramic tour of the city passing through the residential district of Anfa, the Place des Nations Unies, the surroundings of the Royal Palace in the habous district and the Casablanca corniche.
  • External visit of the Hassan II Grand Mosque.
  • Departure to Rabat.
  • Visit of the Mechouar esplanade, the Royal Palace, Chellah (13th century Merinid necropolis), the Mohamed V mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Oudayas.

Day 2
  • Departure for the beautiful city of Chefchaouen where we will spend the day.
  • Chefchaouen is a beautiful little town of around 40,000 people located in the foothills of the Rif Mountains which rise above the town like two horns, giving the town its name (Chefchaouen in Berber means “look at the horns”).
  • About 660m above sea level and with very little car traffic, clean and fresh air invites you to stay a few days to discover the beauty of the place and its surroundings to breathe.
  • We visit the medina and let our senses guide us through its blue streets.
  • Night in Chefchaouen in B&B: Hotel Riad Lina.
Day 3
  • Departure for Fez towards the Rif mountains.
  • Discovery of the Roman remains of Volubilis and the holy city of Moulay Idriss.
  • Then drive to Meknes, another imperial city.
  • Visit of the door Bâb Mansour, famous in the whole world, of the door Bâb El Khemis then passage by the main entrance of the old Mellah.
  • Visit of a granary, the royal stables and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
  • Night in Fez in B&B: Riad Lala Fatima.
Day 4
  • Day dedicated to the visit of Fez.
    Discovery of the medina and its historical monuments.
  • Visit of the Zaouïa Moulay Driss and the Place Nejjarine and its fountain, decorated with zelliges and surmounted by a carved cedar canopy.
  • Visit the Nejjarine museum of wood arts and crafts then various Fassi craft workshops and discover a traditional oven.
  • In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace and its sumptuous golden door then discover the tombs of the Merinids, from where you will have a panoramic view of the city and its ramparts.
  • Visit of the potters’ complex and tour of the ramparts.
  • Night in Fez in B&B: Riad Lala Fatima.
Day 5
  • Departure from Fez towards the mountains of the Middle Atlas.
  • You will visit the city of Ifrane.
  • Then you will continue to the Ouzoud waterfalls with its beautiful landscapes and color contrast.
  • You have lunch in the city of Azilal before joining Marrakech.
